Broker's Comments

The classic Eventide boats were designed by Maurice Griffiths, editor of Yachting Monthly.

The boat is ashore, so I was able to inspect the hull and long keel which appeared sound. The bilge plates have been renewed recently.

The current owner has added a wheelhouse for better weather protection and renewed the electrics. The engine started readily but we did not run it for more than a minute because it was only cooled by the inter cooling water in the radiator. Navigation instruments have largely been removed.

This is a classic boat that pays little attention to modern interior fashion, so it oozes character and scope for further remodelling.

This boat has been personally photographed by Dan King of Boatshed Brighton.
