Broker's Comments

A great starter boat this one – she has all the basics to get you out on the water for not a great deal of money, and a few handy enhancements – such as the solid windscreen. The present owner decided he would remove it, but in the end he liked it so much that he kept it!

Designed by CSJ Roy, who once worked for Westerly Marine – you can see why she is easy to mistake for a Westerly. The Macwester has the same generous headroom and well designed living space just like a Westerly, so she would suit anyone wanting to sleep aboard over longer trips – this boat has been to the Channel Islands and the West Country fairly regularly.

I like Macwesters, there is something about them that makes them pleasant to be aboard. This boat various improvements – extra locker space, flexible galley layout, the list goes on...

The owner has already bought a bigger boat, so he is keen to sell.

I think you’d better ring me here at Boatshed Port Solent, and we’ll get along and have a look.
